Saturday morning, September 17, 2011, 07:30 a.m. in Enid, Oklahoma. Race start / finish line is located on Maine Street between the Cherokee Strip Conference Center and the Enid Public Library.
Course Description
USATF Certified mildly rolling, loop course; 5K - one loop; 10K - two loops.
Registration and Fees
Participants are encouraged to pre-register either on-line (getmeregistered.com) or by U.S. mail to Great Land Run c/o Continental Resources; c/o Kim White; PO Box 1032; Enid, OK 73702. All mailed pre-registration forms must be post marked no later than Saturday, Sept. 10. On line registration/pre-registration will be open through Wednesday, Sept. 14. Packet pick up will be Friday, Sept. 16 from noon - 7:30 p.m. at Continental Resources, North Tower Lobby, 302 N. Independence, Enid, OK and the morning of the race from 6 a.m. - 7 a.m. at the Cherokee Strip Conference Center, 123 W. Maine St,, Enid, OK. Pre-registration fee is $20. Kids under 12 are $15. After Sept. 14 registration fee is $25.
T-shirts
Pre-registered runners will receive t-shirts on race day. Race day registrants will receive shirts as supplies last.
Awards
(10K, 5K) Ceremony following race outside Cherokee Strip Conference Center. Awards to top three finishers overall male and female, and three deep in the following age divisions: Male and Female: 12 and under, 13 – 19, 20 – 24, 25 – 29, 30 – 34, 35 – 39, 40 – 44, 45 – 49, 50 – 54, 55 – 59, 60 – 64, 65 + . Overall winners not eligible for age division awards. Awards MUST be picked up by winners. They will NOT be mailed.
Timing and Scoring
Timing will be done using the Champion Chip Timing System. Chips will be distributed on race day ONLY and will be collected upon completion of the event.
Post Race Celebration
An assortment of good things to eat and drink for race participants.
